This Privacy Policy describes how Samuel Troyer, doing business as Pole Barn Pro and Troyer Digital Solutions (“Pole Barn Pro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you use the Pole Barn Pro Calculator, 3D Designer, customer design-review pages, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
Account information: email address, authentication identifiers, account status, and information you enter in your profile, such as your name, company, phone number, address, and logo.
Project and customer-review information: building dimensions, selections, estimates, material prices, saved jobs, 3D designs, project names, review links, approval status, reviewer names, comments, and requested changes.
Subscription information: selected plan, billing interval, subscription status, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, and transaction records. Stripe processes payment credentials. Pole Barn Pro does not receive or store complete card numbers or security codes.
Affiliate information: affiliate applications, referral codes, referral attribution, clicks, earned commissions, payout status, and Stripe connected-account identifiers. Stripe collects identity, tax, and bank details needed for affiliate onboarding and payouts.
Technical and usage information: browser and device information, IP address, authentication/session data, timestamps, diagnostic logs, and feature interactions that our hosting, security, and service providers may process.
Local device information: some settings, company branding, custom material prices, and in-progress project data may be stored in your browser’s local storage.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the Service; authenticate users; administer free access and subscriptions; save and synchronize projects; generate estimates and visualizations; create and operate customer review links; process approvals and comments; provide support; diagnose problems; prevent abuse and fraud; maintain records; enforce our Terms; and comply with legal obligations.
3. How information is disclosed
We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose information:
to service providers that help operate the Service, including Google Firebase/Google Cloud for authentication, databases, hosting, and server functions, and Stripe for checkout, billing, fraud prevention, and subscription management;
to people you intentionally invite through a customer review link. Anyone possessing a valid review link can view the associated saved design and may submit feedback, so links should be sent only to intended recipients;
when required by law, legal process, or a valid government request, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, or the rights and safety of others; and
in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.
Service providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. Stripe’s privacy information is available at stripe.com/privacy.
4. Cookies, authentication, and local storage
The Service uses cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies required for sign-in, security, preferences, project continuity, and subscription access. An approved affiliate link sets a signed, first-party referral cookie for up to 30 days. It records the first valid affiliate referral on that device so an eligible subscription can be attributed and commissions can be calculated. We also use the Google tag and Google Ads conversion measurement to understand visits and whether advertising leads to subscriptions. Google may process device, browser, interaction, and approximate-location information under its own privacy terms. Sensitive customer-review tokens and Stripe checkout-session identifiers are removed from page-location data sent through our Google tag. Blocking these technologies may prevent measurement or essential features from working. We do not sell personal information for money.
5. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, administer accounts and subscriptions, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Customer review links are designed to expire after 30 days, although related records may remain in backups or business records for a limited period. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
You may update profile information in the Service, manage or cancel an eligible subscription through the Billing link, and request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where required or permitted by law. Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights and the right to appeal a denied request.
7. Children
The Service is intended for adults and business users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as the Service or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised Policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when legally required.
Artificial intelligence tools were used to assist with portions of the design, development, writing, and testing of this Service. AI-assisted work was reviewed and directed by the Service owner, but AI can produce errors or omissions. No AI-generated or AI-assisted calculation, visualization, recommendation, policy text, or other output should be treated as professional engineering, architectural, construction, legal, or financial advice. Users remain responsible for independently verifying all Service outputs and obtaining advice from appropriately qualified professionals.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Samuel Troyer, doing business as Pole Barn Pro and Troyer Digital Solutions (“Pole Barn Pro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your use of the Pole Barn Pro Calculator, 3D Designer, project-saving features, customer design-review pages, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding agreement. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring that anyone using your account complies with these Terms.
2. Plans, demo access, and trials
Calculator demo: eligible new accounts may receive one 30-minute period of free Calculator access. It begins when the account is created, expires at the stored deadline, and does not restart when the page is refreshed or the user signs in again.
Calculator subscription: the Calculator-only plan is billed at the price and interval shown before purchase.
Calculator + 3D Designer: eligible new subscribers may receive a 1-day free trial. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the selected monthly or yearly subscription automatically begins and Stripe charges the payment method shown at checkout.
Upgrades: an existing Calculator subscriber upgrading to the Designer bundle may receive a prorated charge or credit shown by Stripe before confirmation. An upgrade does not create a second free trial unless expressly stated at checkout.
Promotional, trial, and whitelist access may be limited to one per person, account, household, business, or payment method and may be withdrawn in cases of abuse.
3. Automatic renewal, billing, and cancellation
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the monthly or yearly interval selected at checkout until canceled. The price, billing interval, trial length, amount due after trial, and anticipated first charge date are displayed before you submit payment. You authorize Stripe and Pole Barn Pro to charge the payment method on file for recurring fees and applicable taxes disclosed at checkout.
You may cancel through the Billing or Manage Subscription link in your account. Cancellation stops future renewals and ordinarily takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless Stripe shows otherwise. Cancel before a trial ends to avoid the first paid charge. Removing the app, not using it, or deleting browser data does not cancel a subscription.
4. Refunds and billing disputes
If Pole Barn Pro is not a fit, you may request a refund within 7 calendar days of your first paid subscription charge by emailing stroyer705@gmail.com. Renewal charges and later charges are non-refundable, and we do not provide prorated refunds or credits for partial periods, unused time, forgotten cancellations, or account suspension, except where required by law. If you believe a charge was unauthorized or incorrect, contact us promptly so we can investigate. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable rights under applicable law.
5. Construction, estimating, and 3D-design disclaimer
The Service is a conceptual planning and estimating tool—not an engineered drawing, architectural plan, permit set, survey, appraisal, bid, warranty, or professional construction advice. Visualizations may not be photorealistic or structurally accurate. Framing placement, dimensions, material quantities, pricing, labor, loads, spans, connections, soil and site conditions, wind, snow, frost, seismic requirements, energy requirements, product availability, taxes, waste, and local code assumptions can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong.
Before purchasing materials, quoting work, applying for permits, or constructing anything, you must independently verify every dimension, quantity, price, load, specification, and code requirement with qualified local professionals, suppliers, manufacturers, and authorities having jurisdiction. Customer approval confirms design intent only and is not engineering or code approval. You remain responsible for the project and all real-world decisions.
6. Acceptable use
You may use the Service for lawful internal business and project-planning purposes. You may not misuse the Service; bypass access controls; share credentials or restricted review links publicly; interfere with security or availability; upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious material; scrape or reverse engineer the Service except where such restriction is prohibited by law; resell access without written permission; or use the Service to misrepresent that a design is engineered, permitted, certified, or guaranteed.
7. Your content and review links
You retain ownership of information and content you submit. You grant Pole Barn Pro a limited license to host, process, reproduce, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate and improve the Service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it. Review links are intended for the recipient you choose, but anyone who obtains a valid link may view the associated design and submit feedback. You are responsible for sharing links securely and for the personal or confidential information included in a project.
8. Pole Barn Pro rights
The Service, software, interface, branding, and documentation are owned by Pole Barn Pro or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
9. Affiliate program
Affiliate participation is limited to approved United States applicants. Approved affiliates may earn a commission equal to 30% of net subscription revenue actually collected from an eligible customer attributed through the affiliate's link. Net subscription revenue excludes taxes, refunds, chargebacks, credits, discounts, and amounts not successfully collected. Monthly subscriptions may earn commission on each successful monthly renewal, and yearly subscriptions may earn commission on each successful yearly renewal, while the subscription and affiliate account remain eligible.
Attribution is first-touch and lasts for 30 days on the referred device. Commissions are held for 30 days and become payable only after the affiliate's eligible balance reaches $50. Payments are sent through the affiliate's Stripe connected account and are subject to successful identity, tax, and bank-account verification. Self-referrals, referrals between accounts controlled by the same person or business, misleading promotion, cookie manipulation, spam, and other fraudulent activity are prohibited. Pole Barn Pro may reject applications, investigate referrals, reverse commissions for refunds or disputes, suspend an affiliate, or withhold fraudulent or legally restricted payments. Affiliates must clearly disclose their compensated relationship and follow applicable advertising, endorsement, privacy, and anti-spam laws.
10. Availability, changes, and termination
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, security risk, abuse, violation of these Terms, or legal requirements. You may stop using the Service at any time, but must separately cancel an active subscription to prevent future renewal charges.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and results. We do not warrant that outputs are accurate, complete, current, safe, code-compliant, or suitable for a particular project.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pole Barn Pro and its owner, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits, revenue, data, business, materials, labor, or opportunities; construction defects, delays, injuries, property damage, code violations, or failed inspections; or reliance on estimates, designs, comments, or outputs. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid Pole Barn Pro during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pole Barn Pro and its owner from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your projects, your content, your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not subject to a legally required alternative forum will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Ohio. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
15. Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and effective date and providing additional notice when required. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement concerning the Service unless a separate written agreement applies.
